A nationally known horse expert will present his insight into working with horses as part of a Feb. 27 clinic benefiting the Bit-By-Bit therapeutic riding program.
Craig Cameron – a former PRCA competitor, working cowboy, rancher and cattleman – will present his round pen techniques in working with young horses, as well as improving conditioning and overall performance of the horse.
The clinic will be held at 7 p.m., Feb. 27, at the Claremore Expo Center during the Will Rogers Classic. The cost is $5 per person. The event is sponsored by Stillwater Milling Co. and Priefert Ranch Equipment.
Proceeds will be directed to the Bit-By-Bit program. Bit-By-Bit, sponsored by RSU and Oologah-Talala Public Schools, promotes physical and mental health for those with special needs through horseback riding. The riding sessions help improve balance, walking, language and cognitive skills for participating clients.
