All RSU offices will be closed on Friday, June 30, during a university-wide furlough as a budget-relieving response to recent state budget cuts. This move is designed to provide utility savings, while also creating some additional organizational efficiencies. This cost-saving measure originated from the budget questionnaire completed this spring by faculty, staff and students.
Additionally, all campuses are closed Monday and Tuesday in honor of Independence Day and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5.
If there is an emergency on campus, please dial 911. RSU Campus Police will be available for non-emergency security needs at 918-343-7624.
All faculty and staff are asked to set their out-of-office messages for phone and email to reflect the purposes of the closure and make arrangements for messages to be returned when the campuses reopen July 5.
For those on the Claremore campus, attached is an 8.5×11 flier that can be used for posting on entrances to your building during the closure. Campus specific signs for Bartlesville and Pryor have been sent to those campuses for posting.
