Mark Meadors, former comptroller for the State of Oklahoma, has been named comptroller and assistant vice president for business affairs at Rogers State University.
The appointment was approved recently by the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents, RSU’s governing board.
Meadors served as state comptroller for the state of Oklahoma since 1999. Previously, he was manager of accounting and financial reporting for the Oklahoma Office of State Finance.
He also has served as assistant controller for Rocor International, as controller for Hahn Truck Line Inc., as controller for Kelly-Johnston Enterprises Inc. and as a staff accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick.
He is a member of several accounting and government finance organizations.
He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a certified public accountant.
