Students who enroll at Rogers State University this fall will receive 120 minutes of free long distance calls made possible by a donation to the university by the Stratton Taylor Law Firm of Claremore.
Each student who enrolls for the fall semester at RSU will receive three Sprint long distance cards containing 40 minutes each, or approximately $10 worth of long distance calls, for a total of 120 minutes of free long distance calls, or about $30.
The cards were recently received by the Stratton Taylor Law Firm as part of a class-action legal settlement with Sprint.
The cards will allow students to make long distance calls anywhere in the domestic U.S. and are valid through Oct. 31. Students may enroll at RSU by visiting the Enrollment Center, located in Preparatory Hall on the main campus in Claremore.
Students also may enroll at RSU’s branch campuses in Bartlesville and Pryor.
Fall classes begin on Monday, Aug. 21. Enrollment will continue one week after the first day of classes.
This fall, RSU will offer four new bachelor’s degrees in Business Information Technology, Applied Technology, Liberal Arts, and Social Science, pending accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which is anticipated in early August.
