Rogers State University’s Department of Biology welcomed two Department alumni back to campus last month as special guests for the “Explore Careers in the Medical Field: Physician or Medical Lab Scientist” lecture, held March 26.
Speakers included Ausin Reed, an RSU alumnus and medical lab science educator at Saint Francis School of Medical Laboratory Science, and Aida Sertovic, recruitment and admissions coordinator from OU Medical School.
Reed and Sertovic shared insights into careers as medical lab scientists and the OU Medical School admission process through presentations and one-to-one conversations with student attendees.
Also participating was Vaughn Raney, an RSU alumnus and fourth year OU medical student.
