  1. How long have you been in the United States?
Since August 2008, it was my first season. I moved here to go to school and play soccer, my favorite sport. I love it.
  2. What is the biggest cultural difference that you have experienced?
Everything, the cars, the foods, the place. The biggest difference is that I lived in Sao Paola. It has 8 million people. There were a lot of buildings.
  3. What has been your biggest challenge as an international student?
My biggest challenge was my English. My first week and first month was really hard to talk and go to school. I took English in Brazil but not very much. I have taken classes to work on my English. Now I can do school.
  4. Are you planning on going back to Brazil after you graduate?
That is a good point. I now have a girlfriend who plays soccer so you never know. I really like her so that is one of the good points. If I don’t, I am sure I will have good jobs and be able to have a good job because I can speak Spanish.
  5. What is something interesting about your home country, Brazil?
My country is a football (soccer) country. It is the biggest sport. My country is a really happy country. Everyone likes to go out and party. Every week we have a holiday. We just dance and listen to Samba. It is a pretty fun thing.

My best experience was playing soccer in the USA that is different from Brazil soccer.
