August

  1. How has it been getting settled into your routine?
  2. Did you get your campus email set up?
  3. What are the add/drop dates for this semester?
  4. So far, do you enjoy college life?
  5. What are the big differences between high school and college academically?  Socially?  Personally?
  6. Bonus: You made it through your first month.

September

  1. Have you been using your planner?  Has it been helpful?
  2. Is your job schedule working out with your class and study schedules?
  3. Do you find it easy or difficult to go to class every day?  If difficult, how do you deal with that?
  4. Are there other students you talk with before/after class?
  5. In what ways are you learning about successfully managing your finances?
  6. What is the last day to withdraw this semester?
  7. Bonus:  Labor Day is this month….A day off.

October

  1. What do you think the worst GPA scenario for this semester will be?
  2. Do you know how to figure your GPA?
  3. Are you figuring out how you, personally, study best?
  4. How many mid-terms do you have coming up?
  5. Are you checking your campus email every day?
  6. When is your appointment with your advisor next semester?
  7. Are you struggling at all with any of your classes?
  8. How are you adjusting to having roommates?
  9. Bonus:  Fall Break is this month…The semester is halfway over.

November

  1. Are there any holds on your account you need to take care of before enrolling?
  2. Have you enrolled for next semester?
  3. What are your grades in each of your classes?
  4. Have you checked into getting a flu shot at the Health Center?
  5. Is there anyone you know (especially out-of-state students) who needs somewhere to go for Thanksgiving?
  6. Bonus: Thanksgiving Break is this month….After that there are just a few weeks until the semester is complete.

December

  1. Do you have any big projects or presentations due before the semester ends?
  2. What do you think the worst GPA scenario for this semester will be?
  3. How are you preparing for finals?       
  4. What is your finals schedule?
  5. What do you want for Christmas?
  6. Bonus:  The semester is over this month…A few weeks of rest!

January

  1. So far, how do you like your classes this semester?
  2. What are the add/drop dates for this semester?
  3. Did you already know anyone in your classes?
  4. Have you met some new people?
  5. How does starting this semester compare to starting last semester?
  6. Bonus: Reunite with your friends.

February

  1. Are you finding it easy or difficulty to attend class every day this semester?
  2. Have you visited with any of your professors outside of class?
  3. What is the last day to withdraw this semester?
  4. Are there one or two organizations on campus you have become involved in?
  5. How are you balancing your academic, social, and personal life?
  6. Do you think you are fitting in well at RSU?
  7. Is there anything you think you could be doing to increase your experience?
  8. In what ways are you learning about successfully managing your finances?
  9. Bonus: Basketball is in high gear so check out the games.

March

  1. What are you thinking of doing over Spring Break?
  2. What are your grades in each of your classes?
  3. Are you finding it easy or difficulty to attend class every day?  If difficult, how are you handling that?
  4. What do you think the worst GPA scenario for this semester will be?
  5. How many mid-terms do you have coming up? 
  6. Have you scheduled an appointment with your advisor about next semester?
  7. Are you struggling at all with any of your classes?
  8. Bonus: Spring Break is this month.      

April
