Art by students from high schools across northeast Oklahoma will be on display through March 11 as part of the Emerging High School Artists Competition and Exhibition at Rogers State University.

The exhibition will be held in the new gallery in Baird Hall on the RSU campus in Claremore.

"This is a select exhibition of some of the best work by high school students in our region," said Gary Moeller, art professor and Head of the RSU Department of Fine Arts.

The exhibition will feature drawings, paintings, photographs, graphic design and mixed-media work by area high school students.

High schools represented in the exhibition include those in Claremore, Catoosa, Collinsville, Inola and Oologah-Talala.

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, call (918) 343-7740 or visit www.rsu.edu.
