"Participating in community service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day is an annual tradition at RSU," said B.J. Armstrong, director of RSU student activities.

Events during the day-long celebration included an opening ceremony featuring a dance performance by youth from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a showing of the film "In Remembrance of Martin," followed by a discussion moderated by several RSU professors.
