RSU Innovation Center Hosting "Developing Your Brand" Workshop

The Innovation Center at Rogers State University in Claremore is hosting a workshop so attendees can learn more about the business branding process.

The workshop, "Developing Your Brand," is scheduled on Thursday, November 6th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the RSU Innovation Center on the Claremore Campus.

As a small business you may think you are not big enough to need a branding strategy. If you think only big corporate names need to think about things like brand names, think again.

A small business needs an identity that is part of a focused marketing strategy. Take time to decide how you want your customers to perceive you and know you're positioning in your competitive field.

Your brand is more than just the logo on your letterhead or your business name, it's your corporate identity. An effective brand tells the world who you are, what you do and how you do it, while at the same time establishing credibility with your prospective customers.

Your brand says a lot about you and your business. This presentation outlines the basic steps of developing a branding program and illustrates the branding process with easy to understand diagrams.

The workshop will be presented by Clay McIntosh, founder of McIntosh Creative, an independent studio that focuses on the idea and execution stages of the brand building process.

Over the past 25 years Clay has been a paratrooper, film maker, art director, and song writer. He has worked on a wide range of national brands that includes Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos, Sara Lee, American Airlines, GTE, Skeeter Bass Boats, and the Mickey Mantle Foundation.

The registration fee of $15 must be paid at the time of registration. Payment by phone with a credit or debit card is welcome.
