Show Featuring RSU Library To Be Rebroadcast on RSU-TV

RSU-TV is rebroadcasting a statewide television program that featured Rogers State University's Stratton Taylor Library.

The installment of "Candid Campus," which features a six-minute segment on the library, will air at 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, on RSU-TV. Operated by the university, RSU-TV broadcasts on UHF channel 35, Claremore and Tulsa cable channel 19, and more than 70 cable systems in northeastern Oklahoma and southern Kansas

"Candid Campus" is a 20-show series produced by the Higher Education Alumni Council of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University Educational Television Services to highlight activities, programs and services offered by Oklahoma's state colleges and universities.

The episode featuring the Stratton Taylor Library will discuss the recent construction of the state-of-the-art $4 million facility that opened this spring. The building houses the library's expanding collection and special collections and provides increased student seating and study areas, two reading rooms, computer stations, meeting rooms, classrooms, and a coffee bar. The building also contains classrooms and faculty offices. The episode originally aired Oct. 18 on OETA.

Future episodes of the "Candid Campus" series will feature stories about RSU including the Center for Economic and Community Development, RSU Residential Life, and the Bit-by-Bit Therapeutic Horse Riding Program. The broadcast dates for those episodes have not yet been announced.

New episodes are being broadcast on OETA at 10 p.m. on Mondays. RSU-TV is scheduled to rebroadcast the episode approximately two weeks later at 9 p.m. on Thursdays.
