‘Destination RSU' on Saturday, April 17

RSU To Offer Free Event on College Life For High School Students Juniors and Seniors

High school junior and seniors and their parents can learn about college life at Rogers
State University's "Destination RSU: College Day 2003" on Saturday, April 17.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon at RSU's main campus in Claremore.

"This special event is designed to help students and parents in making important decisions about attending college and taking advantage of the wide variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities available at RSU," said Becky Noah, RSU Director of Enrollment Management.     

"Destination RSU" will begin with registration and a free continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Health Sciences Building.

RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley will address high school students, their parents and their families at 9 a.m.

"Destination RSU" will feature a panel discussion with current RSU students, meetings with RSU deans and faculty members and guided tours of the campus.

Participants also will have the opportunity to learn more about financial aid, the admission process, student services and the wide variety of student activities available at RSU. The RSU Bookstore will be open throughout the morning.

Valuable scholarships to attend RSU will be given away as door prizes.
