Describe how you have shown outstanding achievement in your academic studies at Rogers State University.

I work hard in the classroom while keeping a desire to learn something each time. I try to be the example of a good student and I have always maintained a GPA above 3.0 as a full time student.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I am involved in many organizations and I began that my first semester at RSU. I am a member in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature and the President's Leadership Class. I am also the secretary in the Criminal Justice Society and the president of the Student Government Association. The surrounding community has been a big part of my experience at RSU and I have volunteered at many places from Claremore Christian School to the Children's Advocacy Center.

Give a brief description of why you should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming King/Queen.

I have worked hard to leave a positive legacy at RSU as well as take my amazing experience here through to the next step in my life. I fell that I encompass the spirit of the university and I would be honored to represent RSU as Homecoming Queen this year and continue to be a part of it in the future.

Describe how you have shown outstanding achievement in your academic studies at Rogers State University.

My freshman year I was selected to be a part of the President's Leadership Class at RSU which is a full ride scholarship based on my academics and leadership abilities. We are continuously striving towards excellence in PLC and looking to expand our knowledge. I am also a student athlete at RSU on the women's soccer team and have been able to keep up with my work load in the classroom on top of practicing everyday and going out of town for away games that have caused me to miss classes.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I have shown outstanding commitment to the RSU campus and the surrounding community by participating in and helping plan events on and off campus. I have helped recruit high school students, volunteered time at the local Claremore Chili Festival, KIPP Day, MLK Day of Service, RSU's Got Talent, Destination RSU, Fairest on the Hill, and many other events held on and off campus. I love to stay involved and PLC, the organization I'm representing, has given me so many opportunities to do that.

Give a brief description of why you should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming King/Queen.

I think I should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming Queen because I have, and always will represent RSU in a positive way. I love my school and I am extremely proud to attend RSU. Being involved in PLC along with soccer has given me a sense of pride that I will never let go of! Go Hillcats!

Describe how you have shown outstanding achievement in your academic studies at Rogers State University.

I have shown outstanding achievement in my academic studies at Rogers State by always giving 100% to my studies and maintaining above a 3.0 GPA my entire college career. I always make my studies and classes my top priority. I helped form a long lasting, successful study group with fellow classmates that meet biweekly. I have been scholarship chairman for my sorority.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State Campus and surrounding community by being active on campus and partaking in several community service events. I have helped serve the community through Safenet, Claremore Adult DayCare, and Bit by Bit. I am an active member of the sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha on campus and have held leadership positions within the organization. I have completed over 25 hours of community service a semester. I also have been a leader at Hillcamp for two years and have enjoyed showing incoming freshman what all our university has to offer.

Give a brief description of why you should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming King/Queen.

If chosen as your 2014 Homecoming Queen, I promise to uphold all that our university and community stands for and exemplify what it means to be a true Hillcat. Rogers State is my home and I would be honored to represent our school.

I have maintained a G.P.A. of 3.83 stemming back to when I was a senior in high school as a concurrent student at Rogers State University.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I am active in several on-campus organizations including President's Leadership Class, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, as well as being a Senator in RSU's Student Government Association. In the community I have participated in projects and organizations including Meals on Wheels and Volunteers for Youth, mentoring a young student at a local Rogers County school.

Give a brief description of why you should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming King/Queen.

RSU is and always will be my home and I would love to be the face of Rogers State University!

Describe how you have shown outstanding achievement in your academic studies at Rogers State University.

I worked hard to achieve good grades and made the Dean's Honor Roll my freshman year and hope to continue the tradition.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I have shown up to support the RSU athletics as much as possible, I help to organize the stickball workshops and honor pow-wows, and I have also been involved in many campus organizations and activities.

Give a brief description of why you should be chosen as the 2014 Homecoming King/Queen.

I should be Homecoming King because I am very involved and interested in making the RSU community a home for the students. I am active in many organizations, I promote school spirit, and I would be honored to represent all organizations and the student body as a whole.

I have consistently carried a strong GPA and am excelling in the challenging RSU Nursing Program.

Describe how you have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State University Campus and the surrounding community.

I am in my 4th year at RSU and I have worked hard to help make this university great, I have worked in two different departments on campus, I have been involved in several on campus organizations including Kappa Sigma and the Student Nurses Association. I was a team captain for 2 years for relay for life on campus, and I am dedicated to furthering the positive image that RSU holds in our community.

I am a dedicated member of this community on and off campus, I believe in this university and will continue to promote its good image through my actions as a student and as king.
