
EMPLOYMENTAssistant Professor: Nursing RN-BSN Program Rogers State University seeks to fill a full-time tenure track faculty position in the RN –BSN program beginning August 1, 2013. The position requires a Doctoral-prepared nurse with a background in rural/public health who is self-directed and highly motivated. Experience teaching and curriculum expertise in an RN-BSN program is a requisite. Position involves evening classroom instruction, fieldwork supervision, development of online/blended classes, student advisement & recruitment, and departmental and university committee membership. Candidates qualified at the rank of associate professor or professor, who also demonstrates extensive experience with programmatic development and NLNAC accreditation, may be considered for the Bernsen Endowed Professorship in Nursing. Also required, is valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure and evidence of current practice with a minimum of two years full-time equivalent practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting preceding the first date of first employment. Will consider applicants currently enrolled in a doctoral program. Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a 10-month position.
