The Scholarly Activities committee encourages research activities among members of the faculty and aids in ensuring sound scientific and professional ethics, principles, and practices are maintained when University personnel conduct research. The committee will review research proposals in order to determine recommendations for organized research grant funding. The committee will meet at least twice during each of the fall and spring semesters. The committee will make its recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The membership will be determined according to the university's committee guidelines. The Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs will serve as an ex-officio member.
