 Alumni Profiles
I graduated from Rogers State University with a bachelor’s degree in business with a management emphasis in the spring of 2011.
I am currently the camp director at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch in Avant, Okla.
Due to my degree, I am able to do a lot more than previous camp directors. I designed the website and update it as needed. I also help plan retreats throughout the year.
The main focus of my job is planning summer camp. I am responsible for almost everything including staffing, training, scheduling, creating a theme and organizing ministry.
At some point I would like to pursue a master’s degree in business administration. I feel RSU has prepared me well for both my current job and graduate level courses.
While at RSU, I was in Alpha Sigma Alpha and Honors Program; I volunteered at a local elementary school and worked in Health Sciences; and I was the first homecoming queen. I am so thankful I participated in campus activities. I don’t take it for granted that RSU provided me with the opportunity to get involved and grow with the campus and community.
I’m thankful for my experience and I would do it all over again.
