Request a Phone Installation or Relocation
- Email the Help Desk at helpdesk@rsu.edu
- Requesting a phone installation or move is to be generated by the area supervisor
- After the email is received the appropriate steps will be taken
Voice Mail
Set Up Voice Mail Box
- After you have requested voice mail, a representative from Academic Computing Services will notify you of your temporary voice mail password.
- After you have received your temporary password, dial 7875 and listen to the introductory prompt.
- The message will prompt you to enter your temporary password.
- The system will then talk you through setting up a new password which must be six digits long.
- The system then talks you through recording your name and a message.
Check Messages
- Dial 7875
- Enter your password
- The system will then guide you through the checking your messages process.
Check Messages Off Campus
- Dial 343-7875
- Push “#”
- Enter your extension number
- Enter your password
- The system will then guide you through the checking your messages process.
Set Up or Change Voice Greeting
- Pick up hand set
- Dial 7875
- Enter your password
- Select option 4
- Choose greetings
- Follow the directions to record a new message
