applicants are classified as resident or nonresident for purposes of admission
and tuition based on information provided on the application for admission.
Applicants may be required to submit evidence to substantiate their claim to
resident classification. Since residence or domicile is a matter of intent, each
case will be judged on its own merit by the appropriate institutional official(s)
consistent with this policy. No definitive set of criteria can be established as
sufficient to guarantee classification as a resident of Oklahoma.
uniform policy concerning resident status exists for all state-supported
institutions of higher education in Oklahoma. Copies of this policy are
available from the Enrollment Management Office.
