  • My chief interests are parallel algorithms, network communications, simulations, multimedia, programming languages and decision theory.

Software Authored

  • Ariadne: Java – Discussion thread viewer for WebCT.
  • Kalends: Java – Student class scheduling program.
  • Bartleby: Java – Student transcript and advising tool.
  • MoleSim: Java – Molecular Dynamics simulation.
  • German Tester: Perl/Java - Developed in conjunction with Dr. Barbara Pflanz to evaluate incoming student’s abilities to read and write in German.  It is a web based program which increases difficulty automatically to determine the language skills of new students.
  • Netsim: C – Simulates message passing of MIMD and distributed processing networks to analyze communication patterns.
  • MCVEC:  Fortran – Chemical Reaction simulation (coauthor)
